The sun is setting and the air has that golden texture which reminds the holy of the existence of their Almighty.  All I am is tired.  I have no earthly reason for this tired; my mouth has the bitter of too much cold coffee and a pack of cigarettes smoked to the filter.  My head is light with the buzz of nicotine and caffeine.  My heart pulses with the beat too fast and my mind races with a world of thoughts all jumbled after the self-induced earthquake. It was an impossible.  The edge could never hold.  The song would always fade. One can never speak to another with any certainty that they will have any understanding of the torrent washing

I wanted to follow her like the cracked rain follows the cloud.  I wanted to touch her like spring flowers with forgotten names.  The thought of suffering terrified me. The wall failed the street as she passed by.  Frozen figures danced on the balustrade.  The rounding of unseen roof tops kept the figures in place.
